Anonymous asked: but you get like 300 notes or more on your posts, you gotta have like a thousand follwers

No, sir or madam, you are mistaken.
I generally get between two and fifteen notes on my posts. I have twenty-six followers at the time of posting.
I’ve gotten over 20 notes on exactly four original posts.
The first was this, which contains an anglerfish/hanklerfish and so had to be noticed. I mean, anglerfish, am I right?
I am right.
It got about 30 notes I think.
The second was a screen cap of something Hank Green tweeted during the NO EDGE phenomenon that was reblogged by effyeahnerdfighters and so doesn’t count. It got about 630 notes or so.
The third was a birthday thing for Billie Joe Armstrong which doesn’t count because millions of little girls all over the world think they’re in love with him and destined to have his children (even though he’s already married with kids, but whatever) and follow the Green Day and/or Billie Joe Armstrong tags. It also had a little joke about a verbal twitch Billie uses. It got 840ish notes.
The latest was a screen cap of a couple of Youtube comments I made that got lots of thumbs and surprised me enough that I posted them here. But it doesn’t count either because I had exactly one note from a lovely follower until the aforementioned Hank reblogged it (AND OH MY GOSH I’M TOTALLY NOT OVER THAT YET).

Also there was a Star Wars reference, which helped. It’s at 245 notes for the moment, I think.
So no, I’m not famous by any stretch of the imagination.
I’m just Saera, a kid somewhere who is on the internet more than is probably considered healthy.
My inbox looks a bit like this 60% of the time:

I hope you’re okay with that.
I am.
